MGySgt Brian Blonder Retires

Recon legend Brian Blonder retired last week. Brian was in my platoon in OIF-1 and has always been a consummate quiet professional. His leadership and tactical/technical proficiency will carry on in the Marines and Corpsmen he trained and led in combat. At the time of his retirement Master Guns Blonder was the highest decorated Marine on active duty. Well done brother. In addition to the picture of Brian is the Shadow Box that a friend of ours made for him.

Sounds like he left quite a legacy. I wish him the very best of success with his next chapter in life.

Congratulations on your retirement and Godspeed, Master Guns...

That's a seriously bad-ass shadow box.
