Thumbs down

I hate these call an the Individual states I am calling for the Police or Fire association, asking for a donation. I will ask what city are you calling for, or
CAN I ask a question. 10 times out of 10 they will hang up. Or I tell them I donate to or have donated to my local Police or Fire department which I do every year. I have called the number back that shows up when I receive a call. every time I get a recording that is not a working number,

Layoffs being announced at work. I'm not on the list, but a lot of good people I work with got a reminder that the world is what it is.

Brother I feel you. I am fortunate to not have been on "the list" while watching good folks depart. However I have personally laid off ~100 people; I remember each one: their reactions, families, financial impact, their questions/concerns and how much it sucked (Except for two: they were deserved). Fortunately I have not had to do that dirty deed for few years. Hang in there!

Humidity.

It's been over 80% here lately and I am exhausted. We need a good serious storm to move this out of here.

It has been the same here. Ma and I work outside early and late. I go outside in the late afternoon to pitch a few golf balls around the yard and keep my .22 handy to nail some feral cats. I wear my beekeepers hat to hit golf balls cuz the flies are so bad. It really messes up how I address the ball!

There's something about wearing a beekeeper hat, hitting golf balls and shooting feral cats that appeals to me on so many insane levels.

Caddyshack grounds keeper, except he shoots cats instead of blowing up gophers.

The phuquing cats around here are worse than the flies! I only shoot the ugly , mangy ones. I try to keep the bloodlines in the neighborhood, beautiful.

There was a way to fix the mangy cats, but it costs more than a .22 shell.

Feral cats serve a purpose, and need some interjection and control other than a .22, or .308, or even rat shot.

I don’t recommend shooting them on sight, but if .308 is your choice, you won’t see me anywhere between you and your target.

Are you a PETA member? Good call on standing between me and my target.
