So how many years ago was this picture taken? And the whole blackface/KKK member photo together (the ironic juxtaposition) seems like a Chappelle's Show humor skit done for humor rather than anything truly 'racist'. But fuck it, it's 2019, literally just being white and doing nothing is now racist so why not.......

It's so fucked that his comments about literally killing babies isn't the shit that got people to, ahem, "lynch" that POS ---- it's a stupid photo from 1984. Burn this cock-sucker for being in support of baby-murder.

On the scale of 1-10 in the outrage department, meh. I am also not black and didn't grow up in the south, so it doesn't affect me in that sense. I do find it delicious that these fuckers are attacking one of their own.

I can almost guarantee we have all seen stuff, been involved with stuff that was bad humor, poor taste, etc... I am kind of chalking this up to that category.

Dude. We had Robert Byrd in office most of my life. Like Strom Thurmond... I didn't think he'd ever die. Byrd was a fucking Wizard.

If Republicans were smart, which they're not...they'd tie Northam and his recent support for late term abortions (in which minority woman are over represented ...true or not), to show how the Dem party has forever harbored racist tendencies despite proclaiming otherwise, and have ALWAYS promoted black genocide and slavery (whether real or with 'ideals')....and hammer them everyday. #walkaway

I'm finding it amusing that he was going to be the hero that stamped out racism in Virginia, and Virginia is obviously racist because about a dozen retards decided to have a white power rally in Charlottesville. From watching the news you would have thought there were battalions of white hoods burning crosses in downtown Charlottesville.

As for the photo itself, my guess it was for a Halloween party in 1984. A big nothing burger in my mind, but in today's hyper sensitive world everybody is in "burn the witch" mode.

Yet the GOP didn't know about it to spike his election chances againist Gillespie?

I look forward to more threads where members talk about voting the country out of it's problems....

Agree 100%. Gillespie probably isn't happy with his opposition research firm right about now.

They're already trying to conflate the two situations. "Kavanaugh's bad behavior happened a long time ago and he's on the Supreme Court now. Northam's happened in 1984, yet he's being vilified."

Uh...no. Kavanaugh's situation was completely made up by a bunch of liars and this one is a provable fact that Northam admitted to. They sort of leave that out when comparing the two.

And yeah, the Dems knew about this a long time ago. He was accidentally too honest about their real views on abortion, so they had to get rid of him. He'll remain in office (refusing to step down) until enough of the Dems (especially the 2020 candidates) have had time to publicly denounce him and get the points for virtue signaling. After they've all had a chance to individually rebuke him, he'll step down "for the good of the people" and the narrative will be that the DNC is so virtuous that they policed one of their own.

I'm frankly more interested in who the cat is in the KKK outfit?

And where she/he is today and what they're doing for a living?

Well...if it is a professional position--a likely shit storm. If it's one of us regular kinda folks, a few minutes of media fame talking about what a great guy he was, and then fade to black. (no pun intended ).

Too late, he apologized for the photo yesterday, and changing his mind today. Ask ole George 'Moo-Ka-Ka' Allen...

Yup. He's had way too many people in his own party come out and say he needs to resign for him to survive at this point.

The firm that had responsibility for the opposition research against Northam should just disband at this point.
