Anyone own stock in Raytheon or Boeing or Lockheed Martin? Where's the line WRT making money from .gov?

I find it interesting that the matrix used to determine good ethics is whether or not our government does something. That isn't much of an example t emulate.

Functions that the Govt runs SSSSOOOOOO well?

Those functions?

I've only spoken to Erik online, and he seems like a decent guy from my tiny amount of time speaking with him. His writing always makes logical sense to me, so I don't understand the hatred of him. He's doing what others have been doing for years, but because he's doing it, it's now evil/treasonous?

The gov has been outsourcing things since day one of our country.

The founding fathers worked with mercenaries and we've paid non state orgs to support our supply chain in war and peace. Those are just two quick examples.

None of this is meant to support Prince one way or the other.

The thing that interests me most about Erik Prince (and others like him) beyond the legal or ethical discussions is the answer to the question "When is it enough?"

I will never understand having enough resources to not work, yet choosing to work.

I got into flying as a way to give back through Angel Flights/Samaratins Purse type activities; can only fish & hunt so many days of the year, so “retirement” will simply be a Mission Statement redefined.

If Mr. Prince were feeling charitable, he could take care of a Spetsnaz in Venezuela....

It's the same drive that makes people ask "What's over that hill?" or "What's on the other side of that river?" Lots of people aren't content to just sit around and do nothing. They have a drive to give or explore. It's like Paul Allen. If he'd just wanted to sit around on his money and do nothing, we wouldn't have had the marine discoveries his team made.

So as I read it, this is a Chinese company using his name and expertise in exchange for stock rather than a US company conducting training operations in China. Do I have that right?
Is this endeavor approved by DOD? or is the Chinese company/entity a way around that?

As many times as Mr. Prince has been hemmed up with legal issues, I doubt he ventured into this project without considerable legal advise from his dozen or so legal team on staff.
