So HH6 came back from New Orleans with a bag of delicious, lovely, sweetness. Not only is it strong AF, it tastes good, too.

No, it'll kill you if you don't. So, what's your poison?

Poison,
Been starting every morning with a cup of that delicious coffee made with an aeropress. It's been awesome. I've tried some different grinds (we have that Oxo grinder, got it for a steal) and love the differences in flavor that it brings. What's your recommendation for grind to be used with the aeropress?

About time to order some more too. Got a recommendation on that?

I can't recommend settings for that grinder, but in general, the grind should be finer than regular drip, or about like sea salt. I recommend the inverted brew method:

The new Ethiopia is pretty great!

That is a lot of work, for a cup of coffee.

I put my coffee beans in my blender, grind away to it looks like salt. Use two filters, add water. Plug in the coffee maker push the on button.

Aeropress? Nah, it's super simple, and makes a good strong cup. I generally either use my Technivorm drip machine, or espresso setup.

I am definitely diggin’ it.

Note to any and all preparing for any incident that will leave you without electricity.

Grind your beans now. Do not wait.

Drink Poisonus coffee and stay safe.

The new Ethiopian is excellent. Not as berry fruit forward as some of the others, but the citrus and spice flavors are pretty rich. You can still tell it's an Ethiopian, but definitely a different flavor profile. I like it a lot.
And me and the wife are still grooving on that Brazilian...
I'll be placing another order in a day or two.

A hand grinder will take a little muscle but work. We had a storm & were without electricity for 3 days. The hand grinder and my clever dripper did the trick. My bio lite stove got the water hot. I have a gas stove but it was fun playing with my biolite products. I love their stuff.

Though had to plug into the solar generator for the fans & portable personal a/c. I need to move to the artic. These hot flashes are a pain in the ass.
