Position Title: Financial Analyst

Salary: $54-60,000

Work Location: Andrews Air Force Base, MD

Clearance (required): Active Secret

Required Skills:

Knowledge of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations
Familiarity with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Guidance (FIAR) and Miscellaneous Obligation/Record Document (MORD)
Familiarity and knowledge of Tri-Annual Review (TAR)
Familiarity with internal controls analysis, financial statement reporting, financial statement auditing.
Required Experience

Requires a bachelorís degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted)
Financial statement audit experience
Experience with process improvement and requirements management
Experience with DoD, financial management policies, and procedures
Experience with DoD policies, systems, and procedures for acquisition, inventory, property and material management
Knowledgeable and experience with ODL
Experience using DEAMS, CRIS and FM Suite.
Familiarity with DoD and Air Force financial management policies and procedures
Experience in working with government clients
Strong written and oral communication skills

Certifications a Plus (but not required)

Duties include the following:

Provide financial management and accounting operations solutions, internal control management, and audit readiness support
Monitor obligations and expenditures of National Guard Bureau (NGB) and Air National Guard Readiness (ANGRC) funds through the Open Document Listing (ODL) ensuring that legal and regulatory requirement are observed and to aid in the facilitation resource.
Financial Record Creation to include: create documents using DEAMS, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe and FM Suite.
Identify documentation shortfalls in financial auditability according to FIAR guidance and submit appropriate documents to the government.
