Yes it does, I have given that book as a gift to non-military folks and they learned from it.

The Mission The Men and Me is one of my top 3. It has a lot of leadership tips and tricks as well. Not to mention it's a side of Operation Anaconda that many people haven't heard.

Side Note: Some of the missions Blaber goes over during Anaconda were featured in Medal Of Honor Tier 1 (video game 2012).

Did you order it from Amazon, or somewhere else? I am interested in reading this as well. Thanks

I've probably given away 6-8 copies to anyone that seemed interested.

Caesar's Legion

Steven Dando Collins. Wiley Press.

Nice historical read about the 10th Legion, the lives of the rank and file, and the Roman Civil War when Caesar squared off against Pompey.

Mr. Collins did his homework and has a great narrative in telling the story.

Agreed. Well worth a read for history buffs. The History Channel is running a series on the rise of Barbarians against the Roman Empire. Its well done and includes Attilla and the Huns, Boadicea and the English Celtic tribes and Gunderic of the Vandals.

Cool! I suspect a lot of guys on this board only play dumb. A lot more shooters with some really solid science and engineering backgrounds than some are willing to 'fess up to!

Really? After all the shit he's been given here for associating with the Shovel Thrower, you still read him? Sure hope you are not lining his pockets.

In response to the Brad Thor book.

I picked it up at the local library, and wasn't even thinking or even made the connection regarding his name and the numerous feelings stated from the members regarding him on this site.
