OK, I'm the idiot. Forgive my assumptions, Gryf. When you said "mom" I assumed you meant your "old lady", not your MOM.

My bad.

Boobs on the avatar? No, too many dudes on these boards have something with boobs on their avatar which is why I had to negate that feature to browse at work. They are the internet equivalent of the "naked chick with big hair and big boobs" on trucker's mud flaps. I guess we're supposed to think that's what's waiting for them at home or something. My settings don't even allow avatars to be shown so what would I know?

Who Me, that is a great school! My oldest is at ETSU right now. Are you military or civilian? There is a CF affiliate in Maryville - "Cherokee Athletics". Great gym.

I am a SWAT Cop in Indiana. We have a CF in Indianapolis and I think Fort Wayne(have not been to them yet). I mostly do CF with our team in the PD's gym, but I love going to other "conventional" gyms and doing a CF WOD and watching people say "holy shit" what is that clown doing.

Yea, doing a CF routine at a "McGym" does look a little odd. Now that my ability is catching up to the routines, I imagine the looks will grow more curious.

Do you post at the CF message boards? That is a great community. Very supportive and informative.

Not I. Not there on that movement, or many of the Olys. At 48, I'm not about to screw something up. I subbed "Griff" today. First time...not fun. 15:17. My discomfort was nothing compared to his sacrifice so it's good.

I can kinda do a FGB tomorrow but we don't have a C2 so I'll sub KBS for that and the heaviest ball we have is 15# but I'll make it work.

Max Reps, 3 minutes between sets:

95lbs OH Squat
Pullups
Ring Dips

First Round 10/29/15
Second Round 11/25/13
Third Round 14/21/11

Total Reps: 149

Comments:

This was a slower workout. My OH Squats suck ass, as do my ring dips. I don't ever train them and frankly try to avoid them. I didn't today. The only thing that carried my score was my pullups.

3 rounds
75# PP 20/20/15
18” Box 20/17/17
75# SDHP 15/15/15
15# Ball15/17/15
35#KBS (No C2) 25/25/25

Subbing the KBS for the Row skews the total, doesn’t it? Well, I'm comparing like/like to 5-19 FGB when I subbed 2X30#KBs for the PP and the SDHP so it's all good since I upped the weight on those to "as rx'd".
5-19 Score: 213
6-25 Score: 261

Haven't seen any WODs posted lately. I did Lynne yesterday. (Resting today)
Max reps, 5 rounds of bodyweight bench press and pullups

I hit either 10 or 11 reps of bench, and 69 pullups. I was fried pretty bad from the ring dips the day before, because my last Lynne was 27 reps of bench. I was happy with the pullups, though.

WOD: 3 rounds for time...

5 Tire flips (~300lbs tire)
10 get down get ups
20 push ups
Waiters walk 100ft (plates 35-m/ 25-f)
100 m Sprint
broad jumps 100ft
3 push press (135lbs - m / 95lbs - f)
10 sledge hammer swings (5 left / 5 right)

Time: 11:28

Comments-

Not a bad performance today. The get down, get ups were what slowed me down. As did the broad jumps. The tire is fairly heavy but easily managable. I had the 3rd best time on the board when I left but there were a couple of people that will show up in the afternoon that might beat it. Overall a good effort.

Not a CF workout, but done with the CF crowd. Every Wednesday the affiliate trains with a triathalon group. For some reason I decided to head out there. I'm a dumb ass. Anything and everything that I suck at was done, which is good I suppose.

This is how it went:

8 x 100m sprint in soft sand
100m walking lunges in soft sand
1 mile run in soft sand
~250m swim

That was the "warmup".

Then:

4 x 200m Sandbag Carry (80lbs) Superset 4 x ~2 minutes Sledgehammer Swings
~250m swim
100m run
25m one leg hops
25 pushups
15 burpees
250m run in soft sand
200m walking lunges in soft sand

Fuck me.
