hey all

I am in Bagram Afghanistan, trying to get back to the IZ. Spent 3 years in the IZ, 1 year in the Army, 1 year at a security company and another with DoS. Looks like you guys have a lot of great info. Talk to you later.

PoPo Intro

I've been sneaking around in the shadows for so long I lost my way, I have been graciously redirected.
I am just finishing a 32 yr run with ISP, first 10 on the road, last 22 ERT Team Ldr and anything to do with guns, what a geat job! Any squared away types looking for a career in the states check out www.dps.state.ia.us, WE ARE HIRING....
I started looking last summer after visiting with one of our guys on a embedded mission signed up for the CivPol project and now just sitting on my fingers waiting for PAST.
Prior to that did a couple yrs at Lejenune (10th Mar and a couple on Oki (FAP to Sec Co.)

Greetings.

I have no high-speed, low drag background, but both of my brothers were Army Airborne. The youngest was in the 82nd and has gone into harm's way.

I apologize for not getting this intro in at the start...

Really appreciate the opportunity to have access to such great information.

I am former Corpsman, US NAVY and had a lot of exposure to the Special Warfare community while I was in. After years of convincing from some friends that work as IC's abroad, Ive been getting my skill sets back up to speed to get going. I have recently sat and passed the National Boards for EMT I-85 as well as got certified by all the major Weapons Armorer Courses. I have attended a few Operator courses as well and enjoy IPSC shooting events. My interests include practical shooting, flying, skydiving, travel and foreign languages. Looking forward to learning a few new languages once I deploy.

This site has been an incredible resource and I look forward to enjoying the benefit of what it has to offer.

Same here, it just passed me by, sorry about that. I must have posted an intro on a different thread.

I spent time in SF as a medic and later flew Rotor and Fixed Wing in the Army. Also worked LE in Colorado.

Newly minted butter bar

I was enlisted in several guard units around Ohio for a few years. I was deployed CONUS and then got the bug for active duty. Commissioned through ROTC and I am going to IOBC, hopefully Ranger school, and then on to Fort Rich. Any advice to a new LT would be greatly appreciated. I will follow the rules of read more, post less.
