Where's the best place to post these? The Ranger forum or history.

TFG,

That's the picture that hangs on my wall and I wanted to post it in the Ranger Forum. I seem to have a problem with those old school pictures that are too long to scan.

The picture was taken right before 8th company deployed for Korea. My father is the young looking E8 on the far right side and third row up from the bottom.

I'd like to be able to get the largest picture and also want to show what members from that company did to help forming the Ranger Regiment and other units. So that their story is remembered here at SOCNet.

Can you take the original to Kinko's and let them scan it to a flash drive for you? Call me if you need me to explain what a flash drive is old man...

Very cool...

Get it posted in the 75th forum so I can ask questions about Operation Ripper...if you were involved in that.
IIRC, 8th Ranger was striking behind enemy lines in China. Or so I read.

Ok..

I got this when I tried to upload the new scan..

"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing."

I'm sure it's me somehow.

Anybody know why this got 5,500 views? Other than I'm a dumbass.

And for the record I still haven't been able to upload the picture. I got it scanned at the UPS store and it's like 10 MB. Can I fit that on a floppy disk?
