Agreed. He's a great man and a friend. My Rep out here is Duncan Hunter Jr, a Marine Infantry Officer like Fred, so I'll be sure to flood his inbox/phone line. Not to gloat but he sure does like fucking with the Army brass.

I've heard good things about LtCol Galvin.

Nicholson was only part of the blame machine. I heard Marines were also hastily laying blame on Fox Co.

Galvin retired as a Major, FWIW. And after talking with Fred, he surprised me with some of his comments about a few USMC general officers that are generally thought of in high regard...Lots of people let him and his men twist.

LTG Nicholson is by no means the only man who should feel the shame of dishonor in this series of events.

Agreed. The blame chain starts with Kearney & Nicholson and rolls down from there. There were some good men that were slandered/characteristically destroyed that day by their statements. I'd rather refocus this thread to the great things that MARSOC has done since................

Did a search and didn't see this update. House Resolution 21 has been referred to the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-...on/21/text?r=6

Fred Galvin gives a six minute overview of the incident and where it stands now:

I've written a letter to Rep Mark Sanford regarding this resolution; hard not to be pessimistic considering all involved, but Fred's never given up. They all deserve restitution.
