Terre Haute (IN) EOW

RIP Brother.
-------
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHR) - A Terre Haute police officer has died from injuries suffered in a shooting Friday evening, state police report.

WTWO-TV reports the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday in The Garden Quarter apartment complex. Our partners at the Tribune-Star report the call came in as an "officer down," apparently from a shooting.

The officer was taken to Regional Hospital. Indiana State Police Sgt. Joe Watts tweeted that the officer had died.

Multiple police agencies, including Indiana State Police, responded to the scene of the reported shooting. The suspect is barricaded, Watts reported.

This story will be updated as more details are confirmed.

RIP Brother. Just found out Rob was one of our task force officers and had been called back by his PD to help on this investigation. Very sad.
