The HD is a F750 and the other model is a F550 so they will both pull a horse trailer with no problem. I had a F350 duelly and it would pull anything I wanted it to.

I also should say I wouldn't buy anything with post-07 emissions equipment. It's complete garbage. S/F....Ken M

Looks cool. With a GVW of 33k and a breakover angle of 12 degrees, plan on spending ALOT of time stuck.

Specifically in my neck of the woods, that thing won't go anywhere my Ford Fusion commuter car won't go.

This:
(stock photo, but same as mine)

is my buggy.

I was about to say I like the price tag on yours better but actually I'm not too sure.

No outboard motor?

I try to avoid open water. I'm normally alone or with 1 passenger in which it is VERY nose heavy and not confidence enhancing when outright floating. Gotta have a few hundred pounds in the back to level it out, and even then, the freeboard is scary (also has no forward motion with the tracks without an OB motor). This is a muskeg machine, and the best I've operated on the muskeg including a SUSV.

Hate the suspension (or lack thereof), but love getting there every time, regardless of season or swamp conditions.

Only winched once, and that was during breakup with punky snow/slush about 18" deep over top of a foot of water, over top of ice- kinda floated, kinda lost traction.

You're on it. Met this couple parked across the street from my office in Kirkland this summer, the day before they headed up to Alaska. The dude is very knowledgeable and helpful. I think he's got a bit more than $100k in his, but it's extremely well done.
