HK VP9 fully configurable best out of the box trigger. Or a HK P7 if you can find one.

Easy to pull slide back also due to the wings. Have to admit, in the FDE version saw at rural king last week, it is onecsharp looking firearm. That would be a good choice also.

Agree 100%. And Glock just pushed out the gen5’s which did away with the finger grooves, have ambidextrous side releases, beveled mag wells and come with match barrels. I carry my G19 as my daily duty pistol and keep a G17 on my tactical rig. i would also recommend you spend a little extra and upgrade the sights.

I would take anything off of you tube with a grain of salt. Most of those dudes are FOS.Yeager, Trexarms, are the worst IMO.

VP9 is a Glock killer and I concur with others that say go try different weapons out. I have heard good things about the APX by Beretta.

Glock 34.. Just to mix it up a bit! You didn't say concealed carry, and the added sight radius and barrel give it a little more precision and velocity. And you can walk into a USPSA, IPSC or start to 3 Gun match with no issues..

Just to be contrary here, I'm very happy with my Beretta PX-4 Compact. 15 rounds, 4 inch barrel. Nice size, weight, and accuracy. I chose it over the Glock for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted an external hammer, but I admit I'm old school about that. Second, I just don't shoot a Glock well. My 1911, I shoot fine. The Beretta and my S&W revolver, I shoot fine. Glock, my groups are high and large.

Love the G19. Simple, reliable and doesn't break the bank.

I've found Glock to be reliable and solid. The G19 is a very good choice. There are lots of aftermarket parts; sights, barrels, triggers etc so as time goes by you can tailor the weapon to your personal needs.
