Thumbs up The Orville

I like it. As a fan of the original and even bigger fan of TNG, The Orville delivers a polished hybrid of the campy-ness of Star Trek and the sleek TNG, infused w/ MacFarlane's unique brand of irreverant humor.

I'll try to catch it midway through the season just before it gets cancelled.

I've been watching it. It's a nice mix like you said.

Great episode last night. It started with a Kareoke night on the Orville. This the best line on TV I have heard so far: "Are you a Sexual Jihadist". This was from Capt Mercer to the First Officer (his ex-wife).

I have been watching this and I love it. Its Trek with a better sense of humor. In fact its the best Trek since TNG in my opinion.
