Fighting in Marawi , Philippines

I have been following the combat against the IS rebels in Mawari for a while now and it seems to be coming to a end soon. I read today that MARSOC was there but Im not sure if that was US or Philippines MARSOC. Im happy to see the IS rebels get there ass kicked .

FilMar's don't have MARSOC, they have a Force Recon Bn, so it may be US.
I follow it and I'm sure Kpel does too.

Two ISIS Commanders Killed

If true, this would great news for the AFP and their US advisors. Hapilon was the leader of the ASG and aligned with Al Qaeda until his group pledged allegiance to Baghdadi and ISIS a few years ago. Maute is the leader of the Maute Group which was aligned to the MILF. When the MILF started negotiating with the gov't in Manila his group broke away and pledged allegiance to Baghdadi as well. I'll wait until the have PID with his DNA etc.. before tipping back a San Miguel in honor of their deaths.
