Last Flag Flying

Saw the trailer for this the other day, and it looks really good. Steve Carrell in a dramatic role as the Vietnam veteran father of a Marine killed in Iraq.

"It's my kind of war movie: a bunch of guys talking, no battles," Linklater said at a news conference earlier in the day. "They usually don't make war movies about (middle-aged) guys hanging out, (talking) about how it affected them. It's always mission-based, and this was an area I was interested in: the long-term effects and how these guys changed."

I saw the trailer for it as well. I like Laurence Fishburne, but it kind of smaked to me as an anti-America/war/govt/mil movie.
I could be wrong. I'll probably check it out when it hits cable/DVD
