One hour of BJJ. Focus on the standing guard pass to side control. Four, five minute rounds...two with a black belt. A humbling and satisfying start to the day.

CAP - I just got a trap bar for my garage gym. I love it and it's forgiving on my post-op knee. How do you like it?

Never have really tried it, maybe once. When I do my light weight DL, the bar is set in the rack at knee level.

Morning BJJ at 0700 - 10 minutes of warm up, couple rolling sweep drills, 4 x 2 minute pass or sweep drills, 4 x 5 minute live rounds.

1/21/2020 at 1600: Hex bar deadlifts up to a PR of 325lbs. Not bad five weeks post meniscectomy

1/22/2020 @ 0700: BJJ with 10 minute warm up, 15 minute half guard pass drills, 4-2 minute rounds in or breaking half guard, 3-5 minute live rolls
