Or not.
Wow, you are quite the historian. Very well read.
I, honestly, was guessing based off of the person writing.

Well, looks like the Vegas betting odds got it right.

I'm happy Bron survived until the end. Though, I think that was the product of fans and not so much the writers.

So...what's the point of the Night's Watch without a Night King and AoD?

I think we all knew the ending was going to be stupid. But the sheer magnitude of how absolutely un-fucking-believable the retardation was simply left me speechless. It was a massacre.

None. Because this entire season was one big snuff film involving W&B raping and murdering every semblance of logic/reason.

GRR Martin: This will take 10 season each with 10 episodes.

D&D: Let's do it in 8 with reduced number of episodes in the last 2 seasons when we need to rap things up.

For what it's worth the show entertained me. I am lucky because I actually binged watched all 7 seasons at the beginning of this year so I didn't have to spend the previous 9 years getting here. There were some truly epic episodes but in the end they veered way off course on some of the stuff they'd been setting up.

And my prediction was wrong - but she did end up with a crown. LOL.

I can't think of what's worse, me reading this thread or you fags predicting the outcome of and commenting on an over-hyped TV show.

The episode should have ended when Drogon carried Danys body away.

Everything afterward was a parody of the show right down to the 'council' laughing at the idea of the people choosing a king.

Basically, it became a Siberia where characters can be banished.

The larger (rhetorical) question is who rebuilt the wall, and why? *yawn* Zzzz-zzz...

Not a great series ending. I was hoping to see Arya take out the dragon with a scorpion bolt as Snow engaged and took Gray Worm in a fight where they both die and then Sansa become Queen of everything.

As soon as Tyrion picked up that unlit torch, I knew where he was going so when he went down to the catacombs and saw Jamie's gold hand in the rubble, I was waiting for it to twitch...

Mercifully, it didn't and thus my tv lived to see another day...

Season 8 was rushed, but I also don't know how long they could have drug things on for. I think everyone was just exhausted at the end. I'm sure some of the actors just want to get on with their careers.

As to the finale, given how some shows have hideous endings, this one wasn't terrible on comparison given all the loose ends to tie up. Jon ending up on the wall to live more or less in exile was a good way to not always let the good guy win.

I hear you but they took a year off to finish this show and that storyline could have been written by an 8th grader.

Jon should have died at best, yet we had to throw up when he bends the knee for his little brother. I was waiting for him to scream, he's my king, he's my king!

Even if it was rushed, could they have spent any more time filming Tyrion walking everywhere? Through the town, into the castle, in chains ...

And if Drogon carried away Daenerys' body (the only decent part of the episode) - who was there to blame Jon for what happened? Did he feel the need to confess? He could have made up something like the dragon going after him and killing her instead.

Lastly - what a waste of Arya's turning into a badass. She walked around almost as much as Tyrion.

Real disappointing final season, after enjoying the series up to that point.

As the dagger secretly plunged home, and Danys life ebbed, I was secretly hoping to hear Tina T in the background wailing, Whats Love Got To Do With It? A missed opportunity, for sure. Ennui prevails.
