More assault bike madness and pushed to the limit of my 2.5-3 month post meniscectomy knee. Felt good to do a longer workout as I've been doing BJJ classes, but shorter, more intense workouts lately.

Program for 3/12/2020 was 5 rounds in 37:13 of:
- 60 count jump rope
- 5 pull ups
- 30 calories at 60 RPM Assault bike
- 5 56# single side dumbbell incline press (5 L/5 R)
- 10 calories at 60 RPM Assault bike
- 10 20# wall balls at 10'
- 50 yd farmer's carry with 2 61# kettlebells

- 8 x overhead press
- 8 x upright rows
- 8 x lunges

Just finished watching this. 16 mins of COVID-19-specific home workout.

I have been "following" Jeff Cavaliere and his Athlean-X programs for about 2 years now, and really like him/them. It's a catchphrase with him, but he really does "put the science back in strength". He shows the "how" and "why" for every exercise.

Some of the exercises look brutal.

20 rounds x2 minutes each, 30 sec rest in between of whatever madness my friend, and legendary Muay Thai guy can come up with, x5 days a week.

Pic From yesterday morning. One Pro Muay Thai guy, one pro MMA guy, one rich dude paying to NOT be in the beginner class, and my old ass. That’s a lot of ass in that pic, no one under 210... LOL first world problems

This virus has enabled me to go back to training a LOT. :-) a good side affect of this hysteria.

I haven’t been able to workout at all. No appetite. The thing I do best is sleep and watch TV. I guess I’ll pull thru this or not.

Finally decided to quit being a wuss and start running again.
I have been lightly jogging at therapy on the treadmill but I haven't ran outside in about two years.

It's a nice warm quite day in the neighborhood, so I strapped on a new pair of kicks and headed out the door.

It went well for the first 18:36mins until I stopped and realized I had to go back (Got in the zone and ran way farther than I thought I would/could). That part sucked so I ran/walked on the way back.

Even the cows in the field across from our house looked at me like I was prey.

I kind of over did it, but like the other half said she expected no less.

The one thing I hate in this world is trying to find a new make/model of shoes since Asics changed their styles.

Did a lot of yard work yesterday then jumped on the Assault Bike and did 1 mile in 2:13. Working at chipping away my mile time, but that bike is evil.
