I like the adjustable LOP stock, I wonder if they're backwards compatible and if they're available for sale as a discrete part. Cursory search shows out of stock and also confirms that the Benelli website sucks dog ass. Guess I'll wait for Brownells to carry it. S/F...Ken M

Anyone buy a Remington Police model 870 recently? I hear the police models are made in a different part of the factory and the quality far exceeds that of the Express models (which recently have been crap) ?

I find that hard to believe. Pretty sure the same dude putting the express together is doing the police model. I know that is how the Sig Legions are.

Found this:

https://m.publicsurplus.com/sms/docv...&docid=3347012

So different extractor, different trigger group, deburred, better QC and inspection looks like.

That would be good, cause the last two 870 expresses (tactical and marine) that purchased post 2014 I had were crap and sold back to gunstore. The Remington 870 marine I had back in 1999 was awesome, should have never sold.

Local shotgun for sale just encountered, have the store hold for til tomorrow- just do a little more research on it.

Here is a riddle of what shotgun it is. “Would be the perfect shotgun to use if you were really cool and had to make a getaway”

If a shotgun is Good enough for the King of Cool, it is good enough for me.

Sigh.....

Steve McQueen - the King of Cool.

High Standard 18” barrel Riot Gun. Like he used in the movie The Getaway.

This shotgun is built tough, screams quality and has a very smooth action. Had one at LGS for sale in excellent condition. Made in the late 1960s. Very nice deep blueing.

I was sitting in the barbershop yesterday waiting my turn, so I passed the time flipping through a Guns & Ammo magazine. I saw multiple advertisements for shotguns called SKO. Obviously, according to the ads it is the best thing ever at an unbelievably low price. Anybody here got actual knowledge about SKO that isn't the company marketing blurbs?

The first time I went to real Barber shop, all they could do was give a buzz cuts, a straight shave, and all the magazines were Playboy.

I was too young to need shaving but old enough for a buzz cut and titties. My father never said a word. The barber was the first one to cut father’s hair in ‘63. He gave me the cut in ‘88, free hand with a big ass comb.

Don’t know what model that is, but I want it. Couldn’t you send the barrel to Vang Comp to get it worked with his magic to make it better than a choke?

For the purpose and distance that I would use that beast for...a choke really wouldn't matter....

I'm debating putting a brace on my Shockwave.

Purchased this yildiz 12g today. I’m not a big shotgun guy, but hoping it will make sporting clays a little easier than using my 870.
