Clint Walker, one of the Dirty Dozen, passes away at 91

Who could ever forget Posey? Clint Walker also served in the Merchant Marine near the end of WWII.

I didn't know he'd almost died during skiing mishap in 1971 in a fall from a ski lift. Pierced his heart with a ski pole and was actually pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital until somebody detected a faint heartbeat.

Clint Walker was a favorite of mine. I really liked his role in The Dirty Dozen. Favorite line: "I only hit him once." Great scene. He'll be missed.

Fuck. I didn't know he was still living. Great actor, Dirty Dozen, Night of the Grizzly.

Good guy to take to a bar fight.

Watched him the other evening... “Fort Dobbs” with Virginia Mayo. He had great restraint ... in that movie.

RIP Mr Walker. Many enjoyable hours watching Cheyenne and movies like Night of the Grizzly, Fort Dobbs and The Dirty Dozen.

I got to meet him once.

Been binge watching Cheyenne. I have all 7 seasons on DVD and the most of the movies most signed by the big man himself. Had a huge crush when I was a kid.

I watched Night of the Grizzly at the Drive in. Scared the shit out of me. I was in the backseat but watched every scene even though I was sure that damn bear was gonna pop up somewhere & bust through a window to get me. Since bear’s name was satan I thought it was possessed or something.

Then after we got home and in bed my dad snuck out and scratched on the screen of my bedroom window. After screaming my brains out then found out it was my dad and hysterical giggling and laughing ensued.

Good times.
