U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

Govt email I received to day, very interesting. ANY one on the site use this type of service with the V.A.

- Today the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced a new federal rule that will allow VA doctors, nurses and other health-care providers to administer care to Veterans using telehealth, or virtual technology, regardless of where in the United States the provider or Veteran is located, including when care will occur across state lines or outside a VA facility.

Yes, we have a few doctors that will treat you via internet with a nurse on site. Many people love this option, but some do not. If you don't like seeing a a doc this way, you have every right to change providers

Any idea when the eBenefits site will be back up and running? Nothing like working on a claim, when the site decides to shut down.

Maybe I should post this in the "Things You Hate" thread.

Ive been doing it for a while now. This is why they were handing out Samsung tablets and now even iPads to accomplish this. The process cannot be at the veterans expense so they issued the tabs. I actually just traded my Samsung in for a brand new iPad.

Good program!

Muskogee diabetes clinic was doing this for a while with a doc in OKC. Very nice set-up at the hospital.
