I got it now. My mind isn't what it used to be fellas. But not bad for a guy that never made it past 9's in the multiplication tables.

I got through Pathfinder & MFF JM okay, back when my mind was right

Congrats to Team 23, those studs earned a special spot in history.

As an aside, why the hate for the Sapper comp? Is it b/c they call it "Best Sapper"? Seems like a good thing, that guys that blow things up have their own competition.

ETA I think that every job should have a "best" competition. It encourages excellence, and who doesn't want that?... in our chow hall, supply, armory, admin, etc.... It only benefits the guys on the ground.

What a bunch of studs! I would love to have done this before my body broke. Kudos to all who participated. Even the Coast Guard fielded a team.

Not to derail, just to explain: Hard to explain to someone who isn't Army. The Sapper Tab and Combat Action Badge are seen as "everybody gets a trophy" awards, often called "the Whiner Badge" and "Whiner Tab." Results in a lot of usually good-natured back and forth shit talking.

I do not have a Sapper Tab. Or a Combat Action Badge. I do have an Army Service Ribbon, however. And a Army Achievement Medal...two of them, actually!
