College Basketball 2018/19

I thinks its time for this thread. I just watched Duke pull one out of there butt with a come back win against Texas. Texas led just about all of the game witha 12 point lead about 8 minutes in the 2nd half and Duke came back and tied it up to go to overtime where they controlled the game and won buy 7
, 85-78. wow.

I watched that Duke Texas game also. About half way thru the second half I was figuring Duke was going down. They certainly have some good big men this year, unusual for Duke. And of course they have the one good whiteboy that everybody hates. They always have one of those.

Can't wait for the Lavar Ball shitshow to start after he removed his kid from the UCLA team and the school as well. I have no doubt he'll pimp his kid to the highest paying college.

This guy is the second coming of Don King.

I went to Duke and now work at Duke, so everyone knows who I pull for. Once Duke gets a little rest and little practice they will get their defense figured out. They won't be undefeated but they should not have more than three or four losses. Definitely the best team of the field this year, but I see three or four teams that could knock them out of the tournament in March.

You know what's funny....Duke doesn't hate Kentucky as much as Kentucky hates Duke. They are just...annoying.

Now that light blue school full of cheaters right down the street, yeah, different story.

It was nice to see Duke fully dominate a game for an entire 40 minutes last night. With some rest and practice, that will be how they look when the conference gets rolling...(but not 60-point wins)

Still a little early in the season, but Loyola U in Chicago has gotten off to a hot start. They're 9-1 and knocked off #5 Florida last night.

Since De Paul under Ray Meyer back in the 70s there hasn't been much collegiate basketball success in Chicago, with the exception of Northwestern last year. They seem to have cooled off this season, but it would be interesting to see Loyola have some presence in the tournament at the end of the season.

One of the greatest, and most hated college player of all-time; Christian Laettner. Love him, hate him--that fucker could, and would throw down. Kentucky for the win, Alex...sorry, buzzer beater. Duke ruined a lot of hopes during the Laettner years. I still see--I hate Christian Laettner t-shirts around the UVA campus.

I am pretty partial to the hospital (it's where I work). And the team.

The hospital does good work*.

I have been sitting in front of the fireplace , eating peanuts and watching UVa beat UNC. I m happy. I tried to get my buddy to bet 20 on it but he knew better this time. He knows I wouldnt bet unless I thought I had a good chance. Now for the Duke Game tonight!

Man but are they boring to watch....

They are a good team and when they play their game, they are hard to beat. I'd like to see them play Duke...the most efficient offense against the best defense...

It's been a long time since Loyola has fielded a notable team. I remember them beating Cincinnati for the national championship in 1963. There have been a lot of lean years since.

Is this thread only for the men's basketball teams or is it also for the lesbian teams who allegedly play basketball?
