Poor guy shot himself in in the back of his head four times with a suppressed 7.65mm.

A founding member of Hamas has died three weeks after he accidentally shot himself in the head while cleaning his weapon, a spokesman for the group said.
Wow. Was he looking down the barrel?
Or is it a power play behind the scenes disguised as a suicide?

Neither would surprise me.

Why all the skepticism? Guys in organizations like that are known for being really, really dedicated to firearms cleaning and maintenance.

Your responses made me LOL. Reminds me of the scene in "The Dark Knight".

The Joker: Now, our operation is small, but there's a lot of potential for "aggressive" expansion. So, which one of you fine gentlemen would like to join our team? Oh, there's only one spot open right now, so we're gonna have... Tryouts. *breaks poolstick*

If only entire ISIS decided to perform this operation where you load your firearm, look down the barrel and press the trigger to ensure the gun is in working condition. If only all terrorists first tested their weapons on themselves. One can dream, right?

Maybe the next Hamas leader will be attacked and killed by the pavement. In this line of work they probably are aware of this.

Seriously though, I do think the same as Gavin. I mean, he was dedicated, he wanted to be sure, so he shot himself to be confident that the gun works That the story IMO is pretty thin especially given the recent falling out between Hamas and ISIS is another matter entirely...
