Hi,

I've spent 27 years in private sector security risk management, with the last 9 years focused on intelligence analysis and doing TRAs. Professional areas of interest are Eastern Europe and South America. I'm into languages (speak, read and write in 3 so far) history and culture, a wide range of field skills, photography, and other areas of interest that landed me at SOCNET. Thanks for having me.

Introduction

Hi, my name's Tom, I'm at a coast guard deployable specialized forces unit (kinda like swat only we don't get ops and we're more expensive). Just here looking for some feedback on my plans to switch services and try and join a real sf unit. Looking into usaf cct or 18x pipeline. I look forward to any conversations I have here.

Hey, my name's David, I'm a 92A serving in a psyop unit in Bragg right now. I joined the forums because I'm re-upping in the Reserve component as a 38B CA Specialist and had some questions about it. I'll make sure to take it to the right section, and I'm looking forward to meeting anyone in this community.

I am a career Soldier with over 27 years of experience, I am have been on and off SOCNET for years. I really enjoy the fitness threads and just reading and learning about the SOF community. Much of what I learn helps me in my current position and serves as discussion points with my oldest son who is currently serving in 10th SFG. Thank you for the add.

I've never served in the military, however, military history is something I truly enjoy. I've followed this site for several years, but just recently joined. Special thanks to all those that have served or are currently serving--it's truly humbling.

Hi, my name is Lila and my husband is an ex PJ. I joined as recently some doubts have been brought up about his background and I need to know if he's legit. If he is, I will post more about his service but at the moment don't want to in case he is a fraud, though I hope not. Thank you so much for your service and your help.

I served in 2/505 PIR from 2004-2008, including a lovely 15 month deployment at PB Olson (Samarra- shithole). I then got out and earned my BA at Purdue and studied Pasto in a DoD program, while serving in the Guard. Now serving as a police officer and tasked out to the intelligence side of the house. I'm also half way done with my master's degree at Michigan State University, studying law enforcement intelligence & analysis. Not sure what I'll be able to contribute, but looking forward to see what's talked about.

Welcome, Brother. Which callsign were ya'?

EDIT: And, BTW, if that is your real name, I would suggest changing it with an admin.
