I love me some Otis Redding he’s one of my favs. I often put on Otis when I’m in the pool. I’m about to go soak my shoulder in the hot tub (had rehab today not fun) & think it’s gonna be an Otis Redding soak.

I like music in all categories except:

1) Rap/Hip Hop ... I totally hate that shit. No redeeming qualities to me.

2) Very heavy/death metal. Hate this also and haven’t found one song I like. To me there is a difference between hard rock and this.

3) Opera with a clarification ... I love the music but the screeching gets on my nerves. Some I can tolerate & actually enjoy some but the female sopranos sometimes are like nails on a chalk board to me.

4) Punk ... Again there is some I like but mostly not.

Ohhh I like this! How have I not heard of him?

Have you checked out Cowboy Mouth? I totally love them too.

Also check out “The Green”. Different genre (Jawaiian). Saw those kids perform last time we went to Hawaii and I was hooked. Check out their first CD “The Green).

Well crap my link won’t work for some reason. Pull them up on YouTube and listen to “What Will Be Will Be” and check out “Wake Up”. Those are 2 of my favorite songs on that album, however, I love all those songs & not a bad one in the bunch.

Oh & check out The Psychedelic Furs”.

I DO have an eccentric taste in music. My Apple library would look schizo if someone looked through it.

About 100 posts ago Cody Jinks (country) was brought up. He’s got a really cool style, meaning his country music sounds like country music and you can identify the instruments he uses! Listening to some of his music makes me think he was a Marine, but I haven’t confirmed that yet.

After checking extensively, I've found absolutely nothing to suggest that Jinks ever served in the Corps.
