Just read the post. Mark Scholl (Scrogg) was one of my IFAM instructors at Pope in 1988. He was a great controller, friend, father, and husband. Mark was funny as fuck and a legend within CCT. RIP all. God bless.

RIP brothers.

I was the escort for COL Keneally's wife and daughter during the memorial service in Bldg 4, and literally walked them out of the building into the waiting car. Next morning at 0-dark thirty hopped a flight to Arlington to be part of the burial platoon. Hardest thing I'd done in my life up to that point. I had no idea the anniversary of that was so recent. Thanks for posting.

RIP Brothers

I remember Harvey Moore when he was an SSG and I was a young Ranger. He truly was as hard as woodpecker lips and one that inspired us to exceed the standard.

RIP Rangers

Can't believe it's been 20 damn years.

Gone but certainly not forgotten, I think of the lessons SFC Moore taught me on a regular basis and I wasn't even in his platoon.

Rest in Peace, Sarn't.

I,as well as the current 3/75 CSM, got bumped from Merit 84 to Merit 83 at the last minute. The last person I spoke to not on my bird was Harvey Moore. He was looking for a ride to the Obj. Merit 84 would explode in the great Salt Lake shortly there after as I sat in the door of Merit 83 flying NOE.

RIP Brothers. Gone but never forgotten.

RIP Brothers, 21 years and not forgotten. My wife went out to Antelope Island earlier this year while at a class near there. I hadn't said anything about it, but the people at the hotel she stayed in recommended it. She heard "Ranger" and made the trip. Without my saying anything about it...surprised me and sent pictures that floored me. There was snow on the ground, she had to move it to see some of the markers. She came home with a whole new respect for the stuff we did back in the day.
