QuestionsV-22 Marine FAST rope V Air Force

Gentleman (denotes gender no Character),

Retired army SF guy here and am an engineer for the DOD and received a crazy question , for engineering work. I asked some SF buddies but no one new.

What is the difference in the FAST roping technique from a V-22 between the Marines and the Air Force? Is there even a difference?

Some funny answers but question the validity and appreciate the humor.

Marines don't were gloves
Marines don't use rope
Air force fast rope? Really

Thanks again for any help

From reading around, the Air Force held a competiton to design alternative gear for fast roping; think gloves with better trigger pulling atributes and a device that goes on the rope to control descent. Pretty cool, and hopefully not too far off topic.

I have fast-roped with Marines from the MV and USAF from the CV. We used the exact same techniques and equipment.
