It's COL Murphy's son. I worked with him when he was the TF Chaplain in 2010. Good man.

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

I am the master of my fate
I am the captain of my soul.

I first had the honor of meeting with Chaplain Murphy in '03 when he was at the Scania plant south of Baghdad. He was trying to get rid of a couple of pallets of candy corn that some jack leg stateside had decided was a priority

Congratulations to both Colonel Murphys...!

Ha ! Good times B 2/75. I was at Scania with the Eighty Duece for quite sometime with Chaplain Murphy. I remember him hoisting the kettlebells in the AM next to my hootch. Strong PT ethic. Not one to hang around "inside" either. He would roll. I must say it was a good feeling to have him around, and not just because he had connections with the big guy in the sky either. 0300 one morning he came rooftop while on guard duty to check if I needed anything. I know for a fact the Chaplain knows how handle an M2 and MK19.
Sometime later I ran into him on Bragg and we had lunch and just BS'd about days gone by. Great guy.
