Best VA in Arizona

Gents, amid recent VA issues in Phoenix, I'm wary of filing my claim there. In any case, I'm moving to the Phoenix area next month while on terminal leave to start my new job, and I'll be filing my VA claim there. Where's the best place to file my claim? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Use a Service Office. I used the VFW and they tracked everything. I don't think the local office decides on your case, its some board or person(s) in DC.

One of the VA employees will chine in soon.

When I worked for the VFW, the VA Office I worked in did the majority of the adjudication of claims they received. Some Special Claims were shipped off to other VA Offices. In regards to the VFW Service Office, everyone that works there receives mandatory training on how to review the VA Decisions and to insure they follow their own rules and regulations.

CUJO:
A V.A Regional Office will handle your claim once it is submitted.

Just a question are you enrolled in the V.A. if so go to the local V.A register with them an have all your records forwarded there.

If I remember right AZ Regional office is in Phoenix AZ

Thanks for the responses, gents. You've given a little more confidence in the process out there. From what I gather from others, filing here in Texas is the way to go. Unfortunate that I will not be here to do so.
