Tailgate Sports Bar - Savannah

Anyone familiar with this or the owner?

With, what seems, the pending demise of KB's, there are some early recons going on for the OJC 30th.

The last one of these I attended ( actually the 20th, missed 25th) was awesome and all are invited. Many attended who served just prior and many who served just after. Ken Turner got up and gave jump commands at TOT, you get the idea.

The community as most know seems real large when your in it, but it's pretty damn small when it seems we can validate a few decades of service on this site in just a few messages.

So, as I hear more intel, I'll post up, but I hope anyone who is interested attends.

My buddy Russ Bryant B/1/75 85-89 still lives in Savannah and this is the place where all the Rangers hang out now. The owner is a civilian, but is hugely pro-gun and pro-Ranger. I think it would be normal to expect that this place eventually replaces KBs as the place that would be logical for future events to happen when KBs closes.

Wait, what?! When did this come about? KB's is a staple for many of us non-Ranger types too.....and Sweet Melissa's (for post KB events ).

This last Paddy's sitting and drinking Jamo with the owner (of KBs) even he wasn't sure it's going to happen and if it does it will likely be a drawn out process.

Let's hope.

I will definitely check out this place that you call Tailgate.
