Thumbs up Mossad 101

On Netflix.

After watching Fauda, this other Israel TV show was recommended to me by Netflix.

Fictional story of a group of Mossad recruits as they go thru training.

Good TV. Entertaining. Yeah of course it is TV and you will roll your eyes, but better than a lot of stuff on American TV these days.

Now I know why Poison sells coffee also. After watching Fauda and Mossad, those Israelis/Jews I know really like drinking coffee. Almost like commercial plugs for coffee in the show "you want some coffee" , "I am just making some coffee""meet at the coffee shopping""I brought some fresh coffee for the stake out ", etc. I find myself getting a cup of coffee to drink every time I watch an episode. Lol

Good ending season one! Few twists at the end.

The Brazilian agent - wow.

Watched the first four episodes last night and had to stop or else I'd have been up way too long. Those subtitles - gotta read them fast. Good show so far.

I really like Fauda. I will have to watch this.

As for the smoking...the main protagonist in Fauda, Dorian, looks like someone's shlumpy brother-in-law that can't run from here to there without dropping dead. I know he was in the unit for-real, but he makes me laugh.

I have no idea about the show, but if you like the subject you will also likely enjoy the book Rise and Kill First.

Hat tip to Bushman23 for the recommendation.

I haven't read it but I do know Dr. Bergman. His access to very controlled information is astounding.

I just wrapped up this series and I really enjoyed this one. I watched a Langley show Netflix had on that was so bad I couldn't finish E2. I though Mossad 101 would be similar, but not even close.

This was a really well done show and I have to say the Israeli's have some really good actors, directors and producers. I was waiting for some sort of idiotic ending but I liked the way they wrapped this season up, and how they set up S2.

I think S2 started airing in Dec 2017 - Jan 2018. Not sure when it comes to Netflix. Really glad I watched this one.

Tsahi Halevi, who plays Naor on Fauda, showed up in one of the episodes of Mossad 101. He played the son of the gangster who bought an ancient Torah from two of the recruits.

Mossad 101 season 2 was better than season 1, and I liked season 1. The way this ended sets up season 3 (if there is one) pretty well.

Just finished season 2. It was good and a little better than the first. IT will be interesting to see Season 3. I like where they are going.

And I am still reading Rise. Holy hell, they did a lot if that is all true. Also, some serious self inflicted wounds.
