LMFAO.....Welcome to my former world. Scary ain't it? And make no mistake. Apple is vulnerable too. It just takes more money.

Well, we've all assumed it anyway...

Yup. You more worried about the Chinese tracking you, or the NSA/FBI/HSI? LOL. Are Chinese LE/IC going to kick in your door? All this bru-ha-ha over Chinese stuff for Joe/Josephine Average is FUD, IMO.

As far as your reasons, cool, it's all about choice. I still say my Android is more private/secure than an iPhone, but admit that I don't run bog stock - if anyone just wants to 'unwrap and go', the "walled garden" is a good choice.

How does iPhone check for IMSI Catchers?

In D.C. ?

But again, if my dad said "son, what phone should I get?" - I'd say iPhone too... but not for me.

Question

I got a version Samsung flip phone. When some tell me they will text me I say sorry I don't have text or photos on my phone, you can call me or send an email to me, I will read it then.

Just look around all you see is individuals texting a message on there I phone or what ever they have.

I am more concerned about the Chinese they are a country on a mission. They are making strong inroads into our infrastructure with a purpose. Thankfully when they eventually surpass us Iíll be set since I can use chops sticks and speak a few phrases of Mandarin. ;-).
