Damn! Stealing from the offerings! Well, that's one way to get to Hell fast upon stepping out Life's door!

And yes, word has it if you take a CIV dive course from a GB SCUBA "club" and pass, of course, your NAUI card will have both an SF crest and military SCUBA badge super-glued to its front.

Same for CIV skydiving course from GB skydiving club...yep, HALO wings super-glued to your card.

And if it's a SEAL associated CIV course...YEP! YOU GOT IT! :)

Correction, was Maj. Probst, not LTC. Been a long time ago. The whole reason he got busted for the false awards and badges, was when CID started the investigation into the Scuba Club funds, some of which were illicitly coming from the offerings. One of my best friends at the time (with the initials F.R.) who had been a Chaplains Asst. in 2/75, then was the junior Chaplain's Asst. in 1st SFG and was the one that discovered the discrepancies and alerted CID as to his senior leadership's corruption.

LOL - Small world - I couldn't remember the names due to Old Timers disease, but the second I saw Probst and Bean, I knew we were talking about the same characters... There was a second guy named Bean or Beam that worked with them as well... SFC If I remember correctly.

He was the one trying to bang my old lady when I went to Korea.

Greetings, I am seeking anyone who may have any information about the stolen valor case of Gordon Jon Despot. We are trying to get the FBI to look into this again now that the laws have settled a bit.

Anyone with any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I am specifically looking for the original claims against him for stolen valor. What claims did he make?
