I bought my daughter Thompson Center break open Hotshot .22 when she was 5. It’s a shame they stopped making them that tiny thing is a tack driver. When she was 10 I bought her an AR-15 to kill her first deer even though she switched to my dads .243 to kill the first one.

My oldest recently told me she is getting divorced and confiscated the weapons I gave her soon to be ex husband. As a Kimber Gold Combat was probably not the right fit for her, I took said pistol back and bought her a Gen 5 Glock 19. We spent the day renting 9mm and .45's (I was appalled that they had NO 45 GAP's in stock) She shot the G 43, G 17, G 26 and the G 19. Liked the G 19 the best. Bought a Hornady hand safe that opens with an RFID chip stuck inside her phone case. Soon, night sights and a light.......

I've seen several women gravitate towards the mid-sized Glocks. It seems like the sub-compacts or sub-sub-compacts are (counter-intuitively) too small for them, but the G19 fits their hand just right and has enough weight to absorb a majority of the recoil. You'd assume they'd want the smaller guns like a G43, but that hasn't been my experience...

My youngest bought a G 43 at the last minute after shooting a G 26 very well for some time. I now own that G 43 and she has my G 26.

Well, my daughter handled, but did not fire a few weapons. She held a P365, G43, a CZ P07 and a 1911.. She liked the CZ, due to weight.. Weird...
So, I told her we need to go shoot some.
