Gotta figure where to mount this in the truck, I'm thinking on the driver side B Pillar.

Because this is still a "Firearm" there shouldn't be any issues taking it across state lines like if I go to the inlaws house in PA and drive through Maryland?
Get some of the suction cups Litepath uses on his Stick-up holsters? They are pretty damn strong. I stuck a stick-up under my truck and drove around all day and the holster didn't move.
No weapon in holster BTW.

Just saw this...answer, NO! Check the laws in MD and PA. Maryland is very restrictive on firearms.

So where/how did you wind up mounting it in the truck?

NO! I think this every time I see an order from Maryland.

For those that really feel like being insulted, this Lawyer covers it fairly well: https://criminallawyermaryland.net/m.../transporting/

Yea that's kinda what I was thinking; I think PA will be fine, more concerned about MD.

Have not tried yet but thinking about using a Mag-Bar to mount it to the B pillar on the drivers side. I'm not sure if there will be enough space there though. No experience with the Mag-Bar either but if there is space it should work.

I've been thinking about getting an SBS to strap onto my pack for hiking in Montana. I'm curious how those shockwave style guns shoot. Can you really hit well with that pistol grip?

You really have to practice with them. SB makes a brace for them FYI.

Clint at Thunder Ranch had a demo vid on how to shoot them, but I can't find it.

short version, keep your non-dominate hand away from the mussel, inside the pump loop/strap if it has one, push the weapon out as if it had a stock and aim. absorb the recoil with your arms.

I have considered modifying my Mossberg 500 with this-

Its not permanent, if you don't like it put back on your original furniture...

I picked up a Tac-14 and added a Wilson 1 shot extension. This thing put the fun back in to blasting shit. Recoil is very tolerable. Although I haven't put any 3" turkey loads through it....yet. Pretty accurate too.
