Exclamation VA Policy for Administering Traumatic Brain Injury Examinations

The information below shows that not all Veterans with TBI were examined the same way, which might have effected their rating.

The VA Office of Inspector General (OIG) conducted this review at the request of the Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs, House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs.

I don't remember if I got a TBI examination or not, much less who would have given it to me. Although I must have, since I have a rating for it. I vaguely remember getting a VA letter a couple of years back giving me an option to see a brain spinner or some such. Since it was optional, I declined.
