Introduction

Served at the CM15 which was attached to the 8RPIMA @ Castres - France 1986-87 as part of my Military service.

Started in the engineering then transferred and trained as part of the rapid intervention team to protect the CM15.

I had a 20 years career in the hospitality culminating as GM of several businesses, followed by 19 years so far in the security industry.
I have recently launched a new international employment platform dedicated to ex-Military/defense & law enforcement as well an online business in which I sell advance technology to the same industries as well as select international companies. i am working toward setting up a Global coalition of security services providers.

Hello everyone. XXXXXXXXXXX here. Retiring from the military here very soon. Was told this was a great place to go to get info about PMC jobs overseas.

I started off in the Marines (good choice), made my way into the air force after that (bad choice), became an EOD tech while in the USAF(awesome decision). Glad to be here and I look forward to reading your post and learning what I need to get a good paying overseas gig.

Mike, welcome to SOCNET. Glad to have you, and enjoy the site--however, PERSEC/OPSEC is still a priority so you may want to edit your intro a wee bit.

I am still trying to figure the math you used.

1986+20+19 puts us in 2025.

There must some overlap, but not immediately apparent to me.

Good day, everyone!

Forgive me, more details, you got it. I enlisted in 05 under UV security forces contract (if memory serves me right) . Parris Island Marine, molded into a 0351 assaultman in the west then lived out my few years on the east coast. OIF deployed twice, 07 and 09. Following recruit training and some extracurricular training I went to NSA Bahrain for approximately six months, then to Lejeune. Since my service, struggled to get my act together and have made a decision to turn my life around, go in a new direction and get extremely uncomfortable for success. I gave college a try and could not find any enjoyment in what I was learning or pursuing; I determined college is not for me, at least not just yet.

Thanks for accepting me into the SOCNET community.

Been Lurking A Long Time

Finally got up the nerve to introduce myself.

RA from 1988 to 1995 as a microwave radio repair (29V), then went NG from 1995 to 1997. In 2000, re-upped in the Reserves, back into signal duties.

Duty stations include Ft. Detrick, Izmir Forward Depot (a NATO slot), and Ft. Carson, as well as a deployment to Baumholder, GE.

I am currently a federal employee.
