Because of this thread I'm probably going to pick up a VP9 w/threaded barrel. And since I'm OCD, I'll probably wind up with two of them.

That's saying a-lot.

The BHP/P-35 has been the 9mm 'Point-ability Standard' long before I acquired my first one more than 20yrs ago.

I've never been a big HK-Guy, but I've always respected the brand for what it provided the international arms industry.

Duly-noted. I may have to look into this model.

Another 100rds through the pipe, and this gun is humming.

Only pistol I like shooting more is a SIG P226 Elite SAO, which at about twice the price of my VP9, I'll have to wait a bit to pick up.

I ended up going with good leather, and haven't regretted it.
But that's for Steel Challenge (with a drawstroke). I also have a retention holster (forget which Safariland) that will take a mounted light, but haven't really used it yet.

Sigh indeed. I had to pick-up another one up today. Night sites and 3 mags with this one (3rd mag replaces the one my dumbass "lost", but screaming deal IMHO. ugh. Early Christmas Gift I guess.

Cool! I'm looking to see about a 5" (+/-) "target" barrel model VP9 (or aftermarket barrel). For me, that would be the perfect pistola.

FYI in case you were thinking of it. VP9 and P30 barrels are not interchangable with each other.

EFK and Jarvis do not offer VP9 barrels yet.

Lol. Cocking ears.

If you're not crazy about them, don't worry too much about it, they won't be on there too long.

Cocking assist for folks with diminished hand strength. One can take them off if they choose.

They are great with thick winter gloves on.

VP 9 is a fine weapon on par or maybe better than Glock.

Got my hands on one over Thanksgiving weekend.

All things considered - impressive.
Brand and ergonomics are mated well.

No - It's not a P7. There I said it.

I didn't buy one - yet.
[No - Not because it's not a P7]
Only because I'm currently funding another Bavarian Priority.

It is better than any Glock. Trigger is better. Grip is better. Sights are better. I've always been a Glock fan but the VP9 blows away most Glocks.

Concur, Glock's one advantage is aftermarket and calibers.

Sure wish a 5.25 threaded barrel was available. I'd like to try open class with it.
