Be careful...possum shit in the hay will fuck a horse up. Kill every one of those white rat bastards...

Exactly why I dispatch them with extreme prejudice. I had to burn that hay because they would have shit and piss parties on top of the hay stack. I killed 3 this week and had another raccoon on the porch last night. Fucking animal kingdom wants free handouts now as well.

OK, so there is a family of them in and about the farm. The one I killed yesterday was a juvenile. This one was a female that had just finished lactating. Fuckers are everywhere. Crime Scene photos below.

TFG, have you thought about a dogproof coon trap? They work like a champ.

We have been talking about traps. Are they different than the regular live catch traps?

Yeah, I'll PM you a link. They work like a champ, but don't set them if you have cats. A dog can't trip one, but a cat can.

I want to see pictures with limbs blown off.

The big females are smart and fierce. This time of year they have young they are taking care of, so they are going to be especially active in foraging.

To dissuade cats I use only the pull activated dog proofs like the "Duke Dog Proof" AND a sweet bait like maraschino cherries (The ones Sharky puts in his Umbrella Drinks) bananas also work well and don't interest the cats.

Good plan. I have some Dukes and some Z-traps. The Z's are awfully easy to activate. Never thought of using sweet baits.

I had a muskrat trap in a pond, baited with maraschino cherries, 30' from the bank, freaking raccoons swam out to it and got caught, three in nights in a row....

You may want to think about relocating a rat snake. They do more good than harm, typically. I do understand the issues with the chic's.

$2.00 to kill a snake, very classy.

I do the same. I relocate all snakes except Copperheads. They get no quarter from me.

Good head shot. 2 in the chest there johnnylaw?
