Alone at Dawn

For those that are interested. Newly released book on CCT MOH recipient John Chapman. Covers Chappy’s childhood, training, and last hours during the battle of Takur Ghar, during Operation Anaconda. A lot of great reviews. Worth a look.

Video of Chappy’s actions. Gives some insight into the conditions the men encountered. Brave men...all.

The last two pages of Air Commando Journal has a book review of this book.
"Life is hard. It's even harder if you're stupid." John Wayne

William Tecumseh Sherman-
I hate newspapermen. They come into camp and pick up their camp rumors and print them as facts. I regard them as spies, which, in truth, they are. If I killed them all there would be news from Hell before breakfast.

Watching his heroic actions is nothing short of amazing. I’ve said it time and time again, these are the men boys should look up to. Professional sports athletes ain’t got shit on Chappy.

Hats off.

Saw a post from Dan yesterday, one picture company is considering making the book into a movie.

"There are many US units that are proud of taking the enemy occupied ground in front of them. CCT is proud of making the enemy regret they ever occupied that ground in the first place." Michael Breeden.

Movie is well in the works. Rights have been purchased and Dan has been spending time in Hollywood. Dan and Lori and the guys from Hollywood gave us a briefing at the Vegas Reunion.

That video re: Airman Chapman on Roberts Ridge is the most incredible video I've ever seen.
