See below. As soon as I hit 40, my perfect vision started fading. Damn annoying.

15 yrs ago I was shooting perfectly at 50 m with normal Glock sights. Now? Grrrr....

I need reading glasses close in, and have astigmatism in both eyes (left worse than right). My irons are a little blurry - my illuminated RMR 6.5MOA dot is perfect in the right eye (dominant) and just slightly oblong in the left). And there is still the 1 focal plane vs three. You guys running irons only, on your AR's too?

MRDS on a Glock is what got my wife to finally start shooting. Confidence went from low to "holy shit I can hit this fucker every time!" (that is an actual quote, too).

What did you end up with nofear? If you went Trijicon, did you get the manually adjustable or auto? I've had an RMR06 on my carry gun for a few years and like that it doesn't adjust itself. I bump it up in the morning and bump it down at night.

Fix the "DOT"... just waiting for the base plate to get off backorder. And the Glock to arrive...

I just got two x 45 GAP slides back from jagerwerks that I had them mill for RMR's, A G 37 and a G 38. Also attached is a pix of a Frankengun I built from parts and a P 80 frame. It has a Holosun 507C which came with rail adapter plate and it has three different reticles, a dot, a circle dot and just the circle. Right at around $300 from Optics planet.

Good stuff nofear! Would love to see the finished product.

TFG- I've got to get my wifes G19 milled for an RMR so I can have my slide back. I usually use battlewerx as they do those support posts and have had really good turnaround times. That being said, I always like branching out. Had good experiences with jagerwerks?

TFG has nice legs. Not too hairy.

In other news. Thanks for the slide pics! I need landmarks on these optics every day.

I think they did great work. They tell you up front, 6-8 weeks and it was right at about 7 weeks. Everything is tight. Their site talks about various cut / light combos, nut it seems they are having trouble getting lights. They also have a Project Status indicator. By the time I saw mine had moves from package received to in progress, they arrived the next day.

optics planet is in crisis mode wrt to their ordering and customer service. I had an order get sidelined that only required a phone call to resolve and in two weeks, it couldn't be. Literally they cannot answer phone calls right now. If you are on their email list you are getting updates on how they are trying to resolve all this so buyer beware.

Sadly this is why Amazon is eating these sites alive. Places that also have online Amazon stores like Team Wendy will eventually give up their own and defer to Amazon IMHO.

I just orders from them and received my stuff in less than a week. No issues at all.
