Second gift worthy of posting - NFW watch. This is an exceptional timepiece.

Nfw is badass. Ive posted pics of mine here. Something to be said for a company that puts a lot into worthy, relevant causes, and where you know the owner by name, and he answers when you message him on fb. Sup, George Fox?

I don't have pictures yet but I'll post them next month when I get the watch.

My Dad gave me his Rolex Submariner for Christmas. I've wanted this watch for years and I'm excited to get it, once it comes back from being serviced. That said, it's incredibly bittersweet. Dad has liver cancer and has been really glum about his prospects. I have a strong feeling that he's giving this to me because he doesn't expect that he won't be around to need it soon. Cancer sucks.

Fuck that. Sorry to hear that. I hope he's wrong, and you can enjoy his watch WITH him for many more years.

Please post pictures when you have them. My father has not started to give away any of his stuff, and that’s good as far as I can tell. I rue the day when he does.

Sending prayers and best wishes to you and your father.

I'm sorry to hear your dad has cancer. That sucks. I know that he's giving you his watch because he wants you to enjoy it. Years ago, I had a jeweler melt down my dad's wedding ring and my wedding ring and make them into one band. I look forward to one day passing it onto my son.

Picked up my first "luxury" watch today after lusting over it for quite some time.

I gave my wife a Resco Sea Pearl for her birthday this year, and the other day she was at the airport waiting on a flight, and a guy walked over to her, and said "Nice watch." Turns out it was Resco himself...pretty cool.

I’m proud of you for putting in the time and effort to earn it! Beautiful watch indeed, son!

On a humorous note, my father in law got me a watch for my retirement last year. If anyone is familiar with Invicta watches, it's really....something.

Even for a former fighter guy the thing is gigantic. Probably my best bet would be to wear it around my neck on a gold chain. I think I could probably kill someone with it if the need arose.
