Watched this podcast yesterday which was with Sturgill Simpson and his band. Including conversation with Green Beret Medic Justin Laseck. I thought it was pretty dam good podcast.

Rogan does pretty good interviews. Takes his time and really delves deep into his topics. I watch when he has someone on I find interesting.

Last one I watched through was his interview with Dan Aykroyd. Aykroyd has dropped completely off the deep end. He's fully into aliens, crystals, hauntings and similar shit. Said the ghost BJ scene in Ghostbusters was based on a real life experience. Yeah, OK...

He also did a good interview with Dan Crenshaw. It got comical when Rogan brought up legalizing pot. Crenshaw was clearly out of his comfort zone and Rogan was fully in his comfort zone. Still a good interview.

Before: "Who the fuck listens to a 3 hour podcast?"

After: "It's over already?"

The big media would do well to emulate his interview style IMO.

I have a lot of 10+ hour pickup rides for work and his podcasts are like getting into a time machine and suddenly I'm at my destination.

I listen to most of Rogan's podcasts. If nothing else, they are always interesting if nothing else.

Insofar as Laseck's case, he was actually all choked up and at a loss for words. And then insisted upon participating in whatever Sturgill is into regarding fundraising for the Special Forces Foundation. He offered to do podcasts and shows to benefit right there on the spot. That's a rather stand up thing to do.

The media would do well to take note.

The Sober October 2019 podcast is up now. Typically it's pretty hilarious session. Although on this one Ari Shariff admits slipping Molly (ecstasy) into Bert Kreischer drink while at this house. From what Kreischer was describing he was pretty f*****d up. And the rest of the group seemed to be a little caught off guard Shariff did that. To me that justifies a major ass kicking.

If you go to the youtube channel, there are clips of specific parts of the interviews that are 10 minutes or so. Easier to digest on a limited time budget.

I really enjoy it when he has a good guest on. When he has the Art Bell crowd on it's too stupid to listen.

That was a good podcast. I don't listen to Rogan on a regular basis, a bud suggested I listen to this one and it was time well spent.
