Old school

Greetings brothers,
Started as an air-dale way back with HC16, then on to the Eisenhower. Weíve all been everywhere and most places we canít remember , and then some, then got smart, so Iím told...To this day I still donít know. Most recently 0812 @ ACB2.
Adjusting to CIVLANDFLT is more than bargained for. Here we are, in it for the haul.

Just found the site and joining to reconnect with old friends and keep up with current events in the community.

20 years US Army - 1984 to 2004
18C and 180A
16 years SF - 8 years 5th SFG(A) & 8 years 20th SFG(A)

Was Civil Service for 20 yrs after leaving active duty. Recently retired from that.

Dates of service 1975-2005.

I was privileged to serve with 2/75, 9th INF DIV, 1/29th INF (RGR), 10th SFGA, 7th SFGA, and retired out of 19th SFGA.

Spent last ten years working with our Wounded, Injured, or Ill.

Hello, I thank you for the membership to this organization. I am 54 this year . I was a air force brat growing up , I graduated high school 83 and joined the navy. I served on board uss coral sea 83-87. I have spent my professional years in the x-ray service industry. I got married in 2005 no kids. I just read what I am posting and I sound pretty lame , but that's me in a nutshell.

class number

The last 7 or 8 east coast classes used the Navies numbering system instead of the spec war number system. I didn't know about this dual number stuff until I was retired for over 20 years and my training officer from BUD/S explained it to me. The Navies number system actually makes more sense when you understand it.

7101 71 is the year 1971 01 is the first class of the year
