More remarkable is your selection of reading material...you need a new hobby! I think you are the only taxpayer that has ever actually read a GAO report.

Really, GAO published too much info that some should be OPSEC. like this report I listed the # of personnel.

GAO and other oversight entities are like "independent counselors" or "special prosecutors." Or the entire IG system. We have them around to create the illusion of accountability. Try reading SIGAR reports if you want to spike your blood pressure...

In the end, no one pays attention, and the cycle repeats.

I read GAO reports all of the time. Some good, some not so funny.

Yeah, we De Oppresso Liber'd the shit out of them, a dozen years ago now, and they (and whole swathes of our alleged "support" elements) have spent every day since then proving themselves undeserving of the effort.

Next time, we should just nuke the place from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
