You will need a hire car from Dublin airport. It is an open base except for the Ranger Wing.
Google maps here.

I wasn't IDF, but taught many times there for the TEMO (TacMed) course and for the Wing.

If you need to arrange accommodation, there are great hotels across the M7 in Newbridge. I would suggest http://www.keadeenhotel.ie/

BoonDoc - Many thanks. Hotel vacancies seem to be hard to find, but I'll try Newbridge. Do you know if Uber is a viable option from/to DUB?

Yes, you can use Uber Black from Dublin Airport. It will be over €100 each way. Plus, Uber into the Curragh Camp will be over €15 each way.

Cheaper by far to hire a car.

Enjoy the craic. The NCO mess is a pretty good place to meet some of the locals.
I tried the Officers mess once and it was quite stiff and regimented.

GTG and thanks. If you're local, hit me up on PM, and the beer's on me.
