PJ Verifiation

Craig Clark, he is in late 30s I believe...Claims he went from recon marine to PJ in the 90s....war stories galore, he was shot up, lost all his buddies in Somalia, Bosnia, and other assorted places. Also claims being MMA title fighter, dad was air force colonel that took him for rides in F-15s, and various other titles, awards and anything else you could brag on...

Appreciate any 411

There was a huge exodus of Raccoon types to AFSOC in the mid-80s through I think the 90s. So that part certainly isn't strange. The other stuff? LOL....

That time frame had more than a few of us lat moving to AFSOC.

His name doesn't ring a bell in regards to Force time, but he may have been in a different platoon.

I found the following information on him doing a quick search.

Is this the guy? Seems more Anglico than Force.

His resume has lots of minutiae.

No that's not him, he is working as a line cook and salad tosser at olive garden. He is on drug court, and has no car license etc..
also rode with hells angels, sold dope, was the enforcer in prison....it goes on and on and on. He is a descent guy but too much BS in what he is talking about...I pulled a Don Shipley, ever fire a draeger? never got a straight answer

I always find it strange when a guy goes from Marine Recon/AFSOC PJ/war hero to line cook/salad tosser/doper/prisoner. I'm sure it happens, but it's hard to believe that people can fall so far.

According to the list given to me by KJ, there is a Craig C. Clark that graduated in Class 97-02.

One of our good bros HM2 SARC went over in 92/93 after DS/DS. We reconnected 10yrs later while I was teaching MCD, and starting to take AFSOC students on space-A basis. The topic was curriculum and standing up a USAF dive school. When I asked him about the grass being greener, his comment was "Still an E5 bro!"

Deepc - I'm pretty sure your gut is right on this guy. Any time I hear the "lost all my bros" routine, the BS meter is instantly red.

Not like we were taking any casualties in Bosnia... IFOR / SFOR, didn't matter. On that score he's FOS

Nobody was shooting at us unless it was a drunken hunter...

Not much, he talks at a machine gun pace, and is not forthcoming with any details. His coke bottle thick glasses make me wonder about passing a flight/dive physical..He could be legit, but I don't know. He is younger than me, and his story of being recon prior to jumping to PJ is questionable.
I was a young sailor in mid 90s during Kosovo, and he would not have even been thru recon pipeline at that time, much less been on a MEU or other deployment. He is shady on his Marine time other than stating recon, I ask were you regimental? I knew the Division did some restructuring as to recon assests in the 90s I think, from what all the Msgts talked about. I will try and get more info, but evidently he had a questionable discharge as he cannot use any veterans benefits. Anytime I ask for specifics he gets squirrelly...
He is doing no harm other than polluting the air around him with methane when he talks..Thanks guys will keep digging. I'm all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, which is why I'm not full throttle poser busting mode.
